Do you know of any legit home based business?
Please, I don’t need another MLM. Also I don’t want to be directed on any website which vaguely describe the nature of the business. I want to know exactly what products or services they are selling. I don’t want to give out any personal info unless I know exactly what I’m getting into.

Herbalife is a legit home-based business – but you have to work a lot more than they let on. I did it for a few months while in college. Everything about the company paying you and you getting to keep a portion of your sales is absolutely true – BUT you do have to invest some money to get started AND you have to devote as much time to it as possible. It can be an MLM in that you can recruit others to work under you, but you can keep it strictly a sales job…totally up to you. The only thing I didn’t like about it was that I ended up in a group that was all about recruiting and making CRAZY money – I was just looking to make a few extra bucks. Good Luck!

There are many legit home businesses out there. It can take time to find one that’s right for you, though. I can definitely understand not wanting websites that don’t give much information. I had a MLM business before and the site that they gave me to promote didn’t mention much about the business, except for how great it is and how much money they could make. They had to fill out their information to learn anything else. I hated doing that to people and have stopped that business.
I’m now involved in a different home business that I’m much happier. I have a presentation about the business on my site. It explains everything you need to know about the business and you don’t have to enter any information in to learn about it, either. I have a link in my profile if you want.

Unfortunatly all home based businesses have an MLM side to it, or at least a networking side to it, unless you do a child daycare center. But then don’t hire anyone to work for you otherwise, you’ve just created your own MLM! There are however quite a few Home based businesses that have both. You can choose between working the business using leverage (as some who are misinformed on the whole MLM thing choose to use) while others choose to do it solely. There’s a really good book that you should read rich dad poor dad that will give you a lot of detailed information on Network Marketing and how to leverage your time and increase your income level. All businesses in Corporate America use this model. You can slice and dice it any way you want, but this is the Corporate way of doing business. If you think about it, the American business model is build the same way! Welcome to Corporate America! Get a peice of paper out. Take any corporation to use as an example. On the top of your paper, draw a circle. This circle represents the Owner or partnership owners, Then write two circles under that (President/ CEO) and the Vice President. Write a few more circles under that and you have corporate management positions. A few circles under that and you have store managers, a few circles under that and you have store department managers, a few circles under that and you have sales reps. People don’t realize that but unless it’s a one man show no hired help, no independent representatives, everyone works in a pyramid! or as normally refered to as MLM. It’s just another way to bring in more money. A lot of businesses push this model, because it leverages everyone out. A lot of people don’t understand or are misinformed of the beauty of this. That is why they don’t make money and are where they are now and will always be there until they step out of their shell and venture into something that can really make a difference in their lives and make themselves into something. I know a lot of very successful home based business opporaters. Majority of them use this model and make an incredible amount of money. You can run a home based business in any industry and not use this model and work solely alone, however it will be harder to make the income level you want, meaning it will take longer.
